Working with the fantastic people at Delib, I designed the brand new Budget Simulator web app which engages citizens with government and organisation budgets around the world. We developed a fully responsive, customisable, CMS driven app. This was a very complex and challenging project but also very enjoyable.
In an agile environment, we did early prototyping, testing, enhancing and retesting to establish the best way to structure the vast amount of content that potentially needed to be included on the app. With a mobile first approach, we looked at how we could create budget interactions that had a lot of flexibility for customers whilst enabling the user to access detailed information on the consequences of their decision making.
The app is fully customisable to reflect the branding of different organisation's. Users are able to login to their own customer control panel and choose from a library of accessible theme colours, supply a logo and choose a background image to personalise their app.
